Rhubarb and Strawberry Crumble

- 4 cups hulled and halved strawberries
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup slivered or sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup flour
- 80 ml melted unsalted butter (recipes usually call for cold butter to be blended with a pastry blender, but I find melted butter works just fine)
PRÉPARATION- Preheat oven to 375 F;
- Mix the rhubarb cubes, strawberry pieces, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar and pour into a greased pie plate (if you have extra, top up with small individual ramekins that will be a hit with kids);
- Mix the oats oats, brown sugar, almonds, flour and butter and sprinkle evenly over the fruit mixture;
- Bake for about 35 minutes, or until the fruit is tender and the top is golden.
