Savory Rhubarb and Cheese Quiche

Serves: 8 slices
INGRÉDIENTS- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
- 1/2 cup cream
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
PRÉPARATIONPreheat and Prepare- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside
Prepare the Filling- In a large bowl, combine the chopped rhubarb, shredded cheese, and fresh parsley.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream, eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
Assembly and Bake- Spread the rhubarb mixture evenly over the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the rhubarb and cheese, making sure it is evenly mixed. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
